Color neutral with precise optical density.
Color neutrality can be visualized on a spectral graph by the flatness of the transmission curve. The flatter the curve, the more color neutral the filter. The X2 ND outperforms the leading ND filters by maintaining a neutral performance throughout the visible range and into infrared.
Average light transmission is an important metric to evaluate filter performance. An ideal 10-Stop (3.0) ND filter allows 0.1% light transmission across the visible spectrum. At 0.085%, the X2 ND provides photographers and filmmakers an accurate baseline to set up shots.
