Upgrade your old Breakthrough circular filters by sending them to our facility for the glass to be re-housed into new Mark II Mag frames for just $29 each, offering a cost-effective way to upgrade.

Step 2

Ship your old threaded filters to our facility. Make sure to get tracking, and it's a good idea to insure them.

Once we receive your filters we'll re-house the glass from your original Breakthrough filters into Mark II Mag filter frames.

Step 3

After we ship your re-housed Mark II Mag filters we'll send you an email with tracking.

How long does it take for the Upgrade Program to be completed?

The upgrade process currently takes 4-6 weeks.

Can I pre-order an Upgrade for a filter that is not in-stock?

We do not accept backorders for Upgrades. If they are out of stock, please check back again soon.

What is the difference between an Upgrade vs. Buyback?

  1. $29 Frame Upgrade – Cost-Effective Option
    Send your existing Breakthrough circular filters to our facility, and we’ll rehouse the original glass into new Mark II Mag filter frames for just $29 per filter.

    Please note: due to high demand, this process currently takes 4–6 weeks to complete.

  2. 50% Buyback – Fastest Option
    Purchase new Mark II Mag filters, then after they arrive, send us your old Breakthrough circular filters. Once we receive them, you’ll receive a credit, either as a refund applied to your order or as a Breakthrough gift card. This is the fastest way to get the filters you want without waiting.
